The Lawrenceville Parks Department supervises the maintenance and development of the Lawrenceville City Park, Wishnick Park and Mordecai Brown Field
The City Park features the Lawrenceville City Pool and concession stand, the Pavilion at the top of the hill, two shelter houses, two playgrounds and picnic tables, lighted baseball diamond and a secondary diamond, a bandstand and courts for basketball, tennis and pickleball. The walking/jogging path is also popular.
The Pavilion is located at the top of the hill near Collins Avenue. The meeting room within the pavilion is available for rent. With heat and air conditioning plus an extended patio, the Pavilion is perfect for a family reunion, birthday party, wedding shower or any type of get together. The Armory is open for recreational use during the week. Pickleball and basketball are available on the court, as well as walking/jogging around the court.
Hours – 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
The city is likely to expand hours and services at the facility.
Open during the summer months, the City Pool has always been a great place for family fun. Swim lessons are available. Private pool parties are great for company picnics, birthdays and church groups. For more information, call the City Pool at 618-943-6066 or City Hall at 618-943-2116
